Dowagiac City Council Monday night approved Domestic and Sexual Abuse Services (DASAS) Volunteer Coordinator Rita Reed's request for permission to conduct a candlelight vigil from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in Beckwith Park.
DASAS, of Three Rivers, along with Cass County Task Force Against Family Violence, annually conducts a candlelight vigil which rotates through the county to remember victims who lost their lives as a result of domestic violence and to honor survivors.
