Barn Swallow jamboree talent show Sept. 13

CASSOPOLIS – Barn Swallow Theatre will be presenting Barn Jamboree No. 6 on Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. at the VFW on Broadway downtown.
This old-style talent show is suitable for the whole family, featuring performers from all over the region.
Performances include classical to Broadway, old time to gospel, blues to country.
"The Reveliers" barbershop quartet, with Rom Eubank, Tom Rea, Dan Knuth and Stan Hullah will be appearing, as well as the Barn Owl String Band, with Jan Bartlett, Bruce Bartlett, Evan Miller, Pete Miller and Bev Smith.
Other performers are Laura Maddox, Lindsey Johnson, George Purlee, Tina Widerquist-Bosler, James Jones, Kendall Rucker, Karissa Bannow and Ryan Skinner.
A pie auction will be held during intermission, with all pies home made by members of the Barn Swallow Theatre Board of Governors and members.
Lemonade and water will be served along with free popcorn.
This jamboree is directed by Bev Smith with Laura Maddox.
Tickets are $5 for seniors and children 12 and under and $7 all others.
All proceeds go to support the costs of producing next season's series of plays.
This is a great way to save travel time and fuel and enjoy a fine evening of local talent.
Parking for the VFW is on Broadway, or in the parking lot off Rowland Street behind the VFW in its parking lot.
