Mary G. Stover, 87, of Elkhart Road, Edwardsburg, died at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her brother's home in Cassopolis, after an illness.
Funeral services were at noon on Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg, led by her brother, Ron Pappas and other family members, following a visitation.
Burial was in Edwardsburg Cemetery.
Mary was born on March 25, 1921, to Charles Pappas and Altena Monroe Pappas. She lived in the Michana area all of her life.
She was formerly with Miles Lab of Elkhart, but most of her life was a housewife and homemaker.
On March 14, 1947, in Elkhart, Ind., as Mary Pappas, she married Kenneth Stover, who died on Feb. 19, 2001.
Surviving family includes a daughter, Jeanne (Bob) Wilkerson of Cassopolis; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Carol) Pappas of Cassopolis and Jack (Sharon) Pappas of Elkhart, Ind. and a sister, Phebe Thompson of Elkhart, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Pappas and four brothers, Charles, Frank, Alex and Orrie (Babe) Pappas.

Arrangements were by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
