Colleen Marie Fletcher and Daniel Smith Durham, both of Huntsville, Ala., were married on Feb. 2, 2008, at sunset on the beach at the Coconut Cove Resort, Islamorado, Fla. The Rev. Paul Bates officiated.
Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Candace Fletcher of Edwardsburg and Martha Durham and the late Jim S. Durham of Huntsville, Ala.
The bride was given in marriage by her father Kenneth Fletcher.
The bride wore a white organza strapless aline wedding gown, accented with a rose colored sash and a two-tiered fingertip length ribbon edged white veil.
Audrey Fletcher, sister of the bride, of Elkhart, Ind., served as Maid of Honor.
Other attendants included friends of the bride, Nicole Tweedy and Susan Higley, both of Edwardsburg and Katie Schildhouse of Niles.
They wore tropical flora print sundresses.
Mekiah Hall, a cousin of the bride from Huntsville, Ala. and Anahita, niece of the groom, from Sunnyvale, Calif. served as flower girls.
Elliott Beckner, a friend of the groom from Atlanta, Ga., served as Best Man.
His other attendants included Bill Tweedy, a friend of the couple from Edwardsburg, Ali Miahnahri, brother-in-law of the groom of Sunnyvale, Calif. and Kenneth Fletcher, brother of the bride of Edwardsburg.
Ranson Hall, cousin of the bride, of Huntsville, Ala. was an usher.
Ring bearers were Ranson Hall, a cousin of the bride and Riley Troup, nephew of the groom, both from Huntsville, Ala.
A reception was held at the Coconut Cove Resort, Islamorado, Fla. A local reception was held on March 9 at Christiana Creek Country Club, Elkhart, Ind.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple are at home in Huntsville, Ala.
