Shannon JoAnn Brown of New Castle, Pa. and Jason Allen Pingel of Niles, were married on June 20, 2008, in Tiffen, Ohio, with Mayor Paul F. Kutscher Jr. officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Sam Brown.
The bride is the daughter of Sam and Sharon Brown of New Castle, Pa. She is a graduate of Shenango High School.
The groom is the son of Eugene and Debra Pingel of of Owens Street in Niles A Brandywine High School graduate, he is a factory worker.
A honeymoon will be taken at a later date.
