Samuel and Marjorie (Brockman) Hansen of Beeson Street in Dowagiac are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 19.
The couple was married on June 19, 1948 at the First Presbyterian Church on Outter Drive in Detroit.
They plan to celebrate with an anniversary dinner party at the Cass County Council on Aging (COA) in Cassopolis.
He spent two years in China during World War II. He is a retired pharmacist, Hansen's Drug Store in Cassopolis, after 22 years.
Their children include Cathy (Tim) Niemi of Blwabik, Minn., Suzanne (Barry) Hague of Edwardsburg and Gayle (Steve) Neher of Northport, Fla. They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
