NILES – Buchanan FC improved to 5-2 in Blossomland Soccer League competition on Thursday with a 4-1 win over the St. Joe Kickers Reserves at Plym Park.
Doug Summers had three goals for Buchanan, which also got a score from Aaron Koziel.
Josh Lopez had the lone goal for the Reserves, who fall to 1-5-1.

Dura Mold FC blanked the Bad News Bearz 12-0 in an interdivisional match.
Hans Koppenhoefer had three goals for Dura Mold, which also got two goals from Adam Hess.
Shane Bookwalter, Arden Kamala, Tommy Wolf, Devin Goulouze, Chris Froelich, Josh Phillips and Max Tackett also scored.

Athletic Jaier improved to 5-0-2 with a 5-3 win over Real Dowagiac at the St. Joe Kickers Club in Arden.
Alex Boehm and Kempess Villafan both scored two goals for Jaier, who also got a goal from Jeff Stusick.
Real Dowagiac (1-7) got two goals from Octavio Hernandez and a goal from Cesar Garcia.
