James H. and Maxine V. (Figg) Burrows of Isaac McCoy Drive, Niles, will commemorate their 60th anniversary on June 6, 2008.
The couple were wed at the First Presbyterian Church of Niles on June 6, 1948.
The life-long residents will celebrate with a family dinner at the church.
Mr. Burrows was in government for a total of 42 years. He was a City of Niles Health officer for 17 years and spent 25 years as a State of Michigan Food Inspector.
Maxine worked in their home as a homemaker. They have 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
