Kim Wedde of Dowagiac is engaged to be married Aug. 9, 2008, at Silver Creek United Methodist Church to Brad Yauchstetter, also of Dowagiac.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Margaret Hischke of Sawyer.
She graduated from River Valley High School in 1999 and from Grand Valley State University in 2004. She is employed by Dowagiac Union Schools.
Parents of the prospective groom are Mike and Linda Yauchstetter of Dowagiac. Brad graduated from DUHS in 2000 and from Western Michigan University in 2005. He also is employed by Dowagiac Union Schools.
