Saturday
Allies for Greyhounds of West Michigan Adoption Day will be at Rural King, 2707 S. 11th St., Niles, on Saturday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Fourth Annual Michiana Sustainable Living Tour will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Participants can tour the locations closest to them, or all of the sites. The tour features initiatives of Michiana residents and businesses to create environmentally friendly homes and communities.
Visitors will find renewable energy alternatives, green buildings, habitat restoration, water catchment, and local, sustainable food sources. The Niles Law Enforcement Complex Relay for Life Team will be holding a garage sale Saturday, June 28 at the F.O.P. with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Rhema Riders will meet at 6 p.m. at Honker's Restaurant, 211 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, Ind. on Saturday, June 28. For more information call (574) 968-4049.
An All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Saturday, June 28, at Faith United Methodist Church, Buchanan, from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 5 – 12. Dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. Take-outs are available. Proceeds benefit our church ministries. For information or directions to the church, call 695-3261.
St. Mark Catholic Church at 3 N. 19th St., Niles, is having a rummage and bake sale on Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a bag sale for $2 a bag from 1 to 2. All proceeds will be used for the parish fund.
Dean Carnes and his Smokehouse Barbecue will again be at the Strawberry Festival at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1340 Sycamore St., Niles, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28. Also free ice cream, strawberry shortcake and coffee will be served by members of St. Paul's Lutheran Hour Ministry group.
The Painter/Juno/Christiana PJC Lake Association will be holding their annual meeting this Saturday, June 28 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Four Lakes County Club. Members and guests are all invited to attend.
Sunday
Buchanan's Pear Mill presents "Working with Wood" on Sunday, June 29 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. with wood turning demonstrations. Music will be provided by members of Riversong. The Mill is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Labor Day.

A dance presented by the Parents Without Partners, Chapter No. 194 will be held on Saturday, July 12 from 8 p.m. until midnight at ZB Falcon's Hall at the corner of Western and Sheridan, South Bend, Ind.
