Marian Louise Poorman, 84, of East Main Street, Niles, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, with Pastor David Mitchell of Fifth Victory Fellowship, Buchanan, officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
She was born on July 8, 1923, in South Haven, to the late Everett and Marcella Young. She was a lifelong Niles-Buchanan area resident.
Surviving family includes a son, Monte (Karen) Poorman of Niles; a daughter, Karan Kotz of Lawrenceville, N.J.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren and a brother, Earl Parkhurst, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
