Campers, staff and volunteers of Camp Civitan were surprised when the 18 motorcyclist drove in.
"Campers came from everywhere to see what all the noise was about and to welcome us."
The camp immediately turned into a bee hive of smiles and hugs, and a buzz of conversation.
"They were so excited to see us again."
Pictures galore were taken of the campers with the U.S. Patriots and their motorcycles to take home with them.
A good time was had by all!
The United States Patriots Motorcycle Club of Michigan presented a check from its annual auction for Camp Civitan to Phyllis Davis (secretary) and Audrey Sperling.
Individuals and community businesses donate motorcycle apparel, helmets, auto accessories, tools, handmade quilts, gift certificates and many more items to the USP MC.
These items are then auctioned to raise money for these special campers.
Proceeds from the auction, along with any cash donations, are then given to Camp Civitan to help the continued growth of this camp; for these loving individuals.
"With all the help of our supporters, we have grown each year."
The USP MC's fourth annual bash is Friday, July 25, and the benefit auction is Saturday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m.
For more details and location, please see their Web site: www.uspmc.us.
