Ignowski, Coquillard, Aurand, O’Bryant All-State

NILES – Top-ranked Niles landed three players on the Division 2 All-State first team and four overall.
The Lady Vikings had pitcher Jenna Ignowski, second baseman Nellie Coquillard and third baseman Shelley Aurand all named to the first team, which was released on Tuesday.
Niles catcher Maggie Ernsberger was an honorable mention selection.
Also named to the honorable mention portion of the squad were Dowagiac's Stephanie Grabemeyer, Lakeshore's Amy Knapp and St. Joseph's Sara Cobb.
In Division 3, Buchanan's Jayme O'Bryant was a first team selection at short stop.
Teammate Alexis Lenox and Brandywine's Delaina Schroeder were honorable mention picks.
Cassopolis' Samantha Vlasicak was a first team selection at second base in Division 4.
The Lady Rangers also had pitcher Symone Pompey and first baseman Branna Wyant named honorable mention.
All 13 players also earned All-District and All-Regional honors.
Ignowski and Schroeder are repeat All-State selections.
Niles coach Gary Collins was named District and Regional Coach of the Year in Division 2.
Cassopolis' Randy Brooks was a Division 4 District Coach of the Year.
In addition. Ignowski, Coquillard, Ernsberger and Aurand were named All-West Division in the Big 16 Conference. Joining the foursome on the All-West team were Cricket Fisher and Heather Daniels.
