NLES – Mount Calvary Baptist Church will hold its Annual Youth Day this year starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The event,which takes place at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will include a "Kiddy Parade." Children will get to take part in a parade of their own showcasing their bikes, big wheel or wagon and show some pride for their favorite team by wearing their favorite sport related clothes.
The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by a talent show at 10:30 a.m. Food and beverages, a spiritual puppet show and other activities will also take place during the event – including boys and girls five on five basketball tournaments for grades 4-12.
Participants in the parade and basketball tournaments will need to register at Mount Calvary Baptist Church between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Tournaments will start at 9:30 a.m. Teams taking place in the tournaments are expected to participate in the parade.
