I write to support the candidacy of Scott Teter for District Judge.
I have known Scott for over 10 years, first as the Cass County Prosecuting Attorney and then as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. We served together on the Board of Directors for the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan.
Scott has always been committed to public safety and the cause of justice in these jobs. He has shown unwavering support for the victims of crime in Cass County, particularly those who have been victimized by domestic violence, elder abuse and the non-payment of lawful child support.
Judges should be fair-minded, industrious, intelligent and temper justice with appropriate mercy. Scott Teter represents all of these qualities critical to being a good District Judge.
