Alice Esther Denno, 88, of Chicago Road, New Carlisle, Ind., died at noon on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Hamilton Grove Nursing Home, New Carlisle, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
Friends may call one hour before services on Monday at the funeral home.
She was born on July 11, 1919, in Three Oaks to Lewis and Huldina Schroeder and was a lifetime area resident.
On May 27, 1939, in Buchanan, she married Sanborn Denno, who died in 1973.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Denno, who died in 1996; a brother, Clarence Schroeder and a sister, Dorothy Denno.
Surviving family includes a daughter, Bonnie June (Robert) Springman of Rome City, Ind.; two grandchildren, Ronald and Michelle and a brother, Arnold Schroeder.
Arrangements were made by Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
