Last day sees fight at school

NILES – Niles City Police were sent to the scene of a fight at Niles High School, on the students' last day Thursday.
At approximately 1 p.m., officers were dispatched in reference to several subjects fighting.
Once officers arrived at Niles High School it was determined that a fight erupted between two students and some others joined in.
One of the subjects produced a single edged razor blade and caused a minor injury to the other subject he was fighting. The injured subject received a 1" cut on the head that did not require medical treatment.
At the conclusion of the investigation, four juveniles were taken into custody.
All the suspects were between the ages of 15 and 16.
All four juveniles were arrested, booked and later released to their parents pending disposition from the juvenile courts.
Charges are anticipated to be:
Juvenile suspect No. 1 – Assault with a deadly weapon.
Juvenile suspect No. 2 – Assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
Juvenile suspect No. 3 – Assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
Juvenile suspect No. 4 – Assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
