In Niles, a Memorial Day service will held on Sunday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, sponsored by American Legion Post No. 26. The speaker will be Legion Post No. 26 Chaplain Clara Cogswell.
A second service will be on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial at Riverfront Park on Main Street. The speakers will be the Rev. Fred Smith and Dr. Mimi Faustino-Inocencio.
They will also be the speakers at the service on Monday, May 26, at Silverbrook Cemetery, following the annual Memorial Day Parade, which begins at 10 a.m.

In Buchanan, the Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Monday on Front Street, west to Terre Coupe to Oak Ridge Cemetery.
