NILES – The Niles area police and fire department members will compete in a benefit game on Sunday at Thomas Stadium. The baseball game will benefit the Brian Parker Foundation.
Admission is free, however, there will be ample opportunities to donate to the fundraiser. There will be on-field games for children, as well as an opportunity to sign up to be a pinch runner.
A home run derby will precede the game. The length of the game will be contingent on audience participation and "other variables."
