NILES – Courtney Miller of Buchanan and Chris Noble of Niles have been selected as the Leader Publications' Athletes of the Week for the Niles Daily Star.
Miller won the No. 1 singles championship at the Division 4 Regional Tennis Tournament on Friday. Her championships also sent the Lady Bucks on to the state finals as a team.
Noble finished fourth at the Battle Creek Lakeview Invitational.
Noble helped the Niles varsity golf team to a fifth place finish.
Each week players will be selected as the Athlete of the Week.
The athletes are selected from nominations from their coaches.
