Woman charged in stabbing death

CASSOPOLIS – Elizabeth Bosworth, 31, of 1027 Carolyn Ave., Elkhart, Ind., was arraigned Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. on an open murder charge in the death of her husband's grandmother.
Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz argued for no bond in the case.
Fourth District Judge Paul Deats denied bond and set a preliminary examination of evidence for 1:30 p.m. May 29.
On May 19, Fitz charged Bosworth with a crime punishable by up to life in prison.
The incident which resulted in the death of Margaret Bosworth, 85, occurred on or about May 17 at 20616 Grange St., Mason Township, where the victim lived.
The defendant was arrested in Elkhart May 17 and extradited to Michigan Monday evening.
