Make this summer one of fun and not tragedy

Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the time for many to "get your boat in the water."
Safe boating cannot be emphasized enough.
A life jacket is the best way you and your family have of surviving a boating accident and avoid drowning.
Even excellent swimmers may be in an accident when they are knocked unconscious and unable to swim to safety.
Don't let a family member forget a basic rule which can save their life. Make sure everyone wears a life jacket, whenever they are boating.
Drinking and driving rules are also the same with drinking and boating. People go too fast and are unable to make clear judgements when they have had too much to drink.
Keep your partying safe, whether in a boat or on a jet ski.
Don't make Memorial Day one where your relatives will come to the cemetery next year to remember you.
