Richard "Dick" Lee Gosnell, 73, of Fruitland Park, Fla., died on Sunday, May 10, 2008.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at Southpointe Baptist Fellowship, Leesburg, Fla., with Pastor Ron Cook officiating.
Interment was in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
Born in Asheville, N.C., Gosnell was a retired supervisor with Michigan Bell.
He was an active member of Southpointe Baptist Fellowship, Leesburg, Fla.
He served during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army.
Surviving family includes his wife, Jean Gosnell of Fruitland Park, Fla.; a daughter, Ruth Runnels of Niles; two sons, Steven Lee Gosnell of Kokomo, Ind. and John Berry Gosnell of Bismark, N.D.; a grandson, Joshua Lee Beacher Gosnell of Bismark, N.D.; three sisters, Dorothy Foster of Forrest, Va., Peggy Peek of Columbia, S.C. and Betty Sue Exum of Burton; brothers, James Gosnell of Flint, Roy Lee Gosnell of Greenville, S.C., Stephen Vaughn Gosnell of Winter Gardens, Fla. and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial may be made to a local Hospice.
Arrangements were by Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg, Fla.
