CASSOPOLIS – The Board of Governors of Barn Swallow Theatre is issuing this open call for Directors for the 2009 season. Anyone interested in directing a play is encouraged to apply.
Their next play is normally the second and third weeks of June on Friday and Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee. A comedy or drama may be considered.
The third presentation, usually a children's play is the second week in July on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and a matinee on Sunday.
The fourth presentation has traditionally been a musical and presented the second and third weeks of August on Friday and Saturday evening with Sunday matinees..
A Barn Swallow Jamboree in September will have one Saturday night performance with a pie auction.
The Barn Swallow Board will accept letters of interest sent to Barn Swallow Theatre, P.O. Box 296, Cassopolis, MI 49031 by June 4. A resume with recommendations or referrals would be appreciated, along with suggestions for plays to consider.
