NILES – A pair of first half goals was all host Brandywine needed in their Lakeland Conference showdown with River Valley on Tuesday.

Sam Low scored both Brandywine goals, netting the first one in the eighth minute and the second in the 29th minute.
Emily Low assisted on the second goal.
The Lady Bobcats outshot River Valley 12-8.
Katie Smallwood was credited with eight saves.
"We played a great game tonight," Brandywine coach Evan Winkler said. "The girls were ready to play and came out and put a lot of pressure on River Valley and scored seven minutes in with a hustle play by Sam Low kicking the ball away from the goalie to score. Sam Low had two really good goals tonight and everyone on the team played great.
"It was a great team win. We had some really nice passing tonight. Elizabeth Varner and Michaela Greer played very well tonight. We are playing better every game. Everyone contributed in tonight's win. I am really proud of my team's hustle and mental toughness. Great team defense and Katie make some big saves for us," he added.
