NILES – For the second time this season, the Brandywine varsity tennis team played a pair of matches on the same day.
And like in the first "doubleheader," the Lady Bobcats came out on top in both matches.
Brandywine blanked both Constantine and Lake Michigan Catholic in non-conference matches at Plym Park.
The Lady Bobcats dropped just 15 games in their entire match with the Lady Falcons. Against the Lady Lakers, Brandywine won all but one flight in straight sets.
The most competitive match of the day came in the LMC match where Brandywine's Kyla Molica and Brooke Ford defeated Alanna Conner and Emily Boelcke 6-2, 4-6 and 6-3.
The twin bill was the final home match for seniors Amelia Harrison and Jamie Bartuska. Both are captains for the Lady Bobcats this season.
"I was a little concerned going in due to a long weekend due to the prom, but the kids played well," Brandywine coach Joe Marazita said. "Aubrey just continues to improve her game through hard work and discipline."
