NILES – With Brandywine dropping its junior varsity softball program, Niles High School picked up the softball tournament for today.
Dowagiac, Buchanan and Edwardsburg will compete in Niles at Vella Park beginning at 10 a.m.
Niles and Dowagiac will square off at 10 a.m. with Edwardsburg and Buchanan to follow at noon. The losers of the first two games will play at 2 p.m. with the winners from the opening two games playing for the title at 4 p.m.
No inning will start after one hour and 45 minutes.
