EDWARDSBURG – The Edwardsburg junior varsity baseball team continued its perfect season on Thursday with doubleheader sweep of Lakeshore.
The Eddies defeated the Lancers 5-1 and 9-3 to improve to 14-0.
Earlier this week, Edwardsburg took a pair of Buchanan.
Last week the team picked up wins over Coloma, Bronson and Lake Michigan Catholic.
The Eddies are 10-0 on the season. They began their season with two wins over Brandywine on April 8 by scores of 3-2 and 4-3.
After having their game postponed with Lakeshore due to weather, they took two wins over Bridgman with scores of 14-2 and 9-1.
The JV team traveled to Coloma last Tuesday and won 10-2 and 4-1; to Bronson on Wednesday with wins of 17-0 and 15-9; and to Eaton Park in St. Joe bringing homes two wins over Lake Michigan Catholic 10-0 and 9-0.
