ST. JOSEPH – Two Dowagiac males, ages 16 and 18, are suspects in multiple Berrien County breaking and enterings.
Sgt. Steve Campbell reported Thursday that Deputy Roy Davis was sent to investigate Wednesday evening at the campground next to Smith Lake at 9027 Pucker Lake Road, Berrien Township, where thieves broke into unoccupied homes and sheds during the early morning hours of April 30.
Once inside, the homes were ransacked, with items of little value stolen, Campbell said.
Davis developed a suspect who was found in possession of stolen property and had on shoes that matched prints left at the scene.
Two suspects will be arrested on felony charges.
