There comes a time in everyone's life where there are choices to be made.
For the soon-to-be-graduating seniors, those choices have already begun.
There are tough choices to be made. Even life changing choices.
We want to congratulate all our graduating seniors, but we also want to issue a word of warning.
While most all of the area schools have held their proms, there are still graduation parting coming up within the next month.
We would hope that everyone would make the right choice when it comes to celebrating his or her graduation.
We are hopeful that each and every one of our seniors, along with those who attend graduation celebrations will think about the decisions they make and the consequences of those decisions.
Area police agencies have issued their warnings about drinking and driving, but many times those warnings fall upon deaf ears.
We at Leader Publications would also like to issue a warning about drinking and driving during the next few weeks.
You don't need a drink in your hand to have a good time.
Just ask those kids who have taken part in Project Graduation celebrations over the last few years.
Our hat goes off to those groups who put in the time and the effort to provide an evening of fun for their seniors.
Many schools now have a Project Graduation group, of something of a similar name. Those individuals who take the time to put together such an event should be recognized and thanks.
So seniors, when you attend a post graduation event, be it as a group or as individuals, take the time to stop and thank those who have gone out of their way to make your graduation a day to remember.
