BUCHANAN – Donna "Teresa" Humphreys, 57, of 4763 Niles-Buchanan Road, Buchanan, died of natural causes at 4:50 p.m. EST Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Northwestern Medical Center, Chicago, Ill.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chicago.
She was first vice of the Auxiliary and Galien American Legion Post 344, a 1968 graduate of Galien High School and a graduate of Southwestern Michigan College with an associate degree in business.
She loved traveling, flowers and reading.
She worked at Simplicity Pattern Co. in Niles for 34 years.
Born Nov. 15, 1950, in Blytheville, Ark., Teresa had lived here since August 1955, coming from Arkansas.
On Oct. 23, 1971, in Galien, she married Neal Humphreys.
Her husband survives, along with: her mother, Tula Mae Crow in Galien; her daughter, Stacey Humprheys of Buchanan; a son, Jeff (Donna) Crow of Grand Rapids; a sister, Cathy (Jerry) Norris of Galien; many nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Heidi.
Her father, Borden Crow, preceded her in death.
A luncheon will be hed at the Galien American Legion following the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, with the Rev. Thomas Nowak of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Galien Cemetery, Galien.
Friends may call at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.
