‘Cats golf team 10th at Pennfield; Bucks kickers fall

BATTLE CREEK – The Niles golf team finished 10th at the Pennfield Invitational on Saturday.
Gull Lake won the team title with a score of 319. Hasting was second with a 325, while Olivet was third with a 328.
The Bobcats shot 376 as a team, taking just four players. A pair of junior varsity members from Pennfield High School rounded out the squad.
Chris Rose shot 89 for Brandywine, which also got a 91 from Dillon Bailey, and a 98 from the team of Zach Rose and Kevin Muntz, who played a best ball format.

PAW PAW – The Buchanan varsity soccer team was blanked by host Paw Paw on Monday.
Buchanan produced only 12 shots on goal compared to Paw Paws 16.
Shelby Welbawm had 10 saves allowing 4 goals.
