CASSOPOLIS – On Saturday, April 19, Cass County CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) hosts its second "CASAblanca" event.
The event was a big success last year so CASA decided to do it again.
The evening will be a silent and live auction with many exciting items on the auction block.
Many generous private parties and local businesses have donated wonderful items again this year.
The festivities are at Elks Lodge 889 in Dowagiac from 6 to 9 p.m. with dinner and a cash bar.
There will be live entertainment again this year.
Tickets cost $30 per person and can be purchased from either various CASA board members or at the CASA office.
Cass County CASA is a non-profit agency of trained volunteers from the community who are appointed by the court to advocate for abused and neglected children in Cass County.
You can help these children by attending this event, thereby making a donation to the CASA program. All contributions are tax-deductible.
For more information on tickets for this event, contact Donna Csokasy, board of directors member, at (269) 445-8960 or Lisa Schmidt, CASA program director, at (269) 445-4431 or by e-mail at
