IDDFAR Spring Fling set for May 10 at Riverfront
NILES – The fifth annual Spring Fling will be held on Saturday, May 10 at Riverfront Park.
The 5K walk and run is presented by IDDFAR, a non-profit privately operated foundation that was created in 2000.
Registration for the event will be held at 10 a.m. with the race to begin at 11 a.m.
Entry fee is $15 before April 30 and $20 the day of the race.
Entry blanks and checks, made out to IDDFAR, Inc., should be sent to IDDFAR, Inc. P.O. Box 874 Niles, MI 49120.

Spring Training Run set for April 19 at LMC
BENTON TOWNSHIP – Lake Michigan College is hosting its annual Spring Training 5K/10K Run and 5K Walk on Saturday, April 19.
The race takes place on the LMC Napier Avenue Campus and combines open road and trail racing.
The race is open to the public and proceeds will support the LMC Soccer Club.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the flag pole plaza in front of the Administration Building. The race begins at 9 a.m.
Participants will be divided into age categories using 5-year age brackets. The fee for all participants is $20 if paid before April 14 and $25 on race day.

Cancer bike ride set for June 22
STEVENSVILLE – The 13th annual Berrien County Cancer Service Bike Ride will be held on Sunday, June 22.
This year, the ride will feature a 100K "One Hill of a Ride" route taking riders over several hills.
A 42-mile route will follow the 100K route, but will miss some of the bigger hills.
The 25- and 15-mile routes are designed for family riders and will be only on relatively flat terrain.
Riders will ride on at least one hill so they can proudly wear their "One Hill of a Ride" T-shirts.
Riders can hit the route between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. All riders must be off the route by 2 p.m.
There will be stops with free, healthy refreshments spread throughout the course and vehicles for emergency support, both for riders and bicycles will be available.
The cost is $15 for an individual or $30 for a family with T-shirts available for purchase for $15 each.
