To the editor:
I just finished reading "Food for thought: privatizing school lunches may impair learning" in the March 24 DDN. This summarizes a study by Roland Zullo, assistant research scientist at the U-M's Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations. I have never read a more inane piece of drivel. It is incredible what kinds of studies are promoted with taxpayer monies. We could probably get a major grant at taxpayer expense to research the positive effects of Barbie and Ken dolls on global warming. To make ridiculous conclusions based on the researcher's agenda is really off the charts. Does anybody really believe this baloney? Does anybody care that they are paying for it?
