Harold J. Bundy, 69, of South Bend, Ind. died at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind., following an illness.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, 61453 M-51 North in Niles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at Mission Hills with the Rev. Phil Thomas officiating, where interment will follow.
He was born on March 17, 1938, in Howardsville, to the late Kenneth and Carmeletta (Harrison) Bundy.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army in both Korea and Vietnam.
He also worked for several years at Buchanan Steel and retired from truck driving for Wal-Mart and worked for a short time at Whitford Trucking of South Bend.
On Dec. 31, 1985, he married Marjorie Bundy at a ceremony in South Bend, Ind. Through the years, he enjoyed many activities including fishing, watching NASCAR and sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Grant Bundy and a step-granddaughter, Ann Keiser.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of South Bend: three sons. Harold "Pete" (Tina) Bundy of Three Rivers, Shawn (Ellen) Bundy of Niles and Kevin Bundy of Kalamazoo; a daughter, Evangeline Michelle (Al) Bell of Georgia; two stepsons, Bill (Gayle) Reiman of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Robert (Edith) Reiman of Elkhart, Ind.; three step daughters, Rochelle (Richard) Grounds of Bremen, Ind., Laurie (Ron) Miner of South Bend, Ind. and Holly (Dennis) Virgil of South Bend, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Judy) Bundy of Dowagiac and Donald (Barbara) Bundy of Dowagiac and two sisters Arlene (Harley) Salter of Hernando, Fla. and Alice Bundy of Dowagiac.
