CASSOPOLIS – Edwardsburg attorney Dale Blunier will be announcing his candidacy for Cass County Fourth District Judge at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Kincheloe room of the 1899 courthouse, 120 N. Broadway.
Former county prosecutor Scott Teter announced for the position Feb. 4.
Incumbent Paul Deats is retiring at the end of 2008.
If another candidate enters the fray, a run-off will be conducted with the Aug. 5 primary.
If Blunier and Teter are the only candidates for the six-year judgeship, voters choose the victor in the Nov. 4 general election.
