Northside's registration is Feb. 19
NILES – Niles Community Schools annual preschool registration at Northside Development Center, 2020 N. Fifth St., Niles, will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. for children who will be age 4 on or before Dec. 1, 2008 and residents of the Niles Community School District.
Registration information for the Head Start and Early Learners programs will be available. For more information call 684-1544.
Children do not need to attend the registration.
Fish fry this Friday at St. Mary's
NILES – St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church of Niles will hold its annual Lenten Parish Fish Fry on Friday, Feb. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the St. Mary's School gymnasium, 217 S. Lincoln Avenue, Niles. The menu features "all-you-can-eat" fish, scalloped potatoes, homemade coleslaw, applesauce, dinner roll, pie and beverage. Tickets are available at the door and are priced at $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3 through 12 years. Take out dinners will be available.
