Carolina wedding set for springtime

Goforth-Howard
The engagement of Sallie Goforth of Shelby, N.C. and Kristopher Howard of Charlotte, N.C. is announced.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Blake and Pamela Goforth of Shelby, N.C.
She is a 2002 graduate of Burns High School in Shelby, N.C. and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a bachelor of arts in psychology as well as a bachelor of arts in sociology.
She is employed by the Charlotte South Division of Ryan Homes in Charlotte, N.C. as the production administrator.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Kimberle and David Garwood, (a Niles native) of Wilmington, N.C. and Joseph Howard of Parkersburg, W.Va.
He is a 2002 graduate of Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, N.C. and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a bachelor of arts in economics as well as a bachelors of arts in management. He is employed at Charlotte West Division of Ryan Homes in Charlotte, N.C. as a production supervisor.
The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on April 5, 2008, in Shelby, N.C.
