December wedding celebrated
Chrissie Vreden of Niles and Adam Troxell of Bridgman were united in marriage on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Community Congregational Church in South Bend, Ind. with Dr. Jack York officiating.
Parents of the couple are Teri and Roger DeLong of Niles and Marde and Tom Troxell of Bridgman.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a strapless white gown with red beading, a lace-up corset back and a pin-tucked skirt. She wore a beaded tiara, elbow length veil edged in matching apple red. Chrissie carried a bouquet of 24 red roses accented with pearls.
All of the flowers for the wedding were designed by family friend, Angela Huffman.
Chrissie wore a family heirloom necklace, a ruby choker which has been handed down through the DeLong family. Ashley Berk of South Bend, Ind. served the bride as her maid of honor. Other attendants were Lindsay Bailey of Niles and Jessica Cornelius of Niles. The attendants wore tea length apple red dresses of their choosing.
Mira Salvagni and Sydney Palmer served as flower girls.
Tom Troxell, father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Rocky Troxell of Bridgman and Rob Vreden of Niles.
A reception was held at The Bell Building at Sycamore and Third streets in Niles.
