The Niles Holiday Classic girls' basketball tournament has been cancelled for this year due to Wednesday's weather.
The tournament was supposed to include Edwardsburg and Detroit Charlotte Forten Academy. Niles Athletic Director John Danaher said he is hoping to reschedule a game with Edwardsburg at a later date.
The Niles boys' basketball team is scheduled to return to action on Saturday when it hosts South Bend Clay.
