NILES – The Niles boys basketball Holiday Classic will get under way Thursday afternoon.
World Embassy Christian Academy of Benton Harbor will take on Lake Michgian Catholic in the first game at 6 p.m., while Niles will face Brandywine at 8 p.m. in the second game.
The consolation game is slated for Friday at 6 p.m., with the title game to follow at approximately 8 p.m.
The freshmen tourament will feature Niles, Brandywine and Edwardsburg, while the JV tournament will have the same four teams as the varsity.
The junior varsity and freshmen games will be played at noon and 2 p.m. each day.
Tickets are $5 per session or $10 per day.
Girls' Holiday Classic
The Niles girls' Holiday Classic will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 with a junior varsity contest between Niles and Detroit Charlottte Forten Academy.
The varsity game will follow at approximately 4 p.m.
On Thursday, the Edwardsburg junior varsity will take on Detroit Charlotte Forten Academy at 2 p.m., while the varsity squads will play at 4 p.m.
The tournament will wrap up on Friday with Niles and Edwardsburg squaring off.
The junior varsity game is slated for 2 p.m. and the varsity contest at approximately 4 p.m.
