NILES – The Niles boys basketball Holiday Classic will get under way Thursday afternoon.
World Embassy Christian Academy of Benton Harbor will take on Lake Michgian Catholic in the first game at 6 p.m., while Niles will face Brandywine at 8 p.m. in the second game.
The consolation game is slated for Friday at 6 p.m., with the title game to follow at approximately 8 p.m.
The freshmen tourament will feature Niles, Brandywine and Edwardsburg, while the JV tournament will have the same four teams as the varsity.
The junior varsity and freshmen games will be played at noon and 2 p.m. each day.
Tickets are $5 per session or $10 per day.
Girls Holiday Classic
The Niles girls' basketball Holiday Classic will feature the host Vikings, Edwardsburg and Charlotte Forton Academy.
Action will begin Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at 4 p.m. with Niles taking on Forton Academy. Edwardsburg will face Forton Academy on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 4 p.m. , while Niles and Edwardsburg will square off on Friday, Jan. 4 at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per session or $10 for the entire day. The JV squads will play at 2 p.m. each day.
