Katie Payne and David Shier were married on June 2, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Berrien Center Bible Church. The Rev. Maynard Shoen officiated.
A reception was held at Saint Mark Church's reception hall.
Parents of the couple are Pete and Kay Payne of Niles and Tom and Carla Shier of Niles.
Music was provided by Darrell Smith and Anna and Jessica Payne.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Pete Payne.
The bride wore a floor length veil with her white beautiful embroidered slim-fitting dress.
The attendants wore brightly colored cornflower strapless and tee length blue dresses.
Maids of Honor were Kellie Kuperus of Coopersville and Samantha Litzner of St. Ignace.
The bride's attendants included Danica Shier of Niles, Julie Payne of Ann Arbor, Cara Poelstra, Granger, Ind., Lindsey Lucero of Niles, Alyse Hoyt of Dowagiac and Angie Casey of Ann Arbor.
Madelyn Payne, Sara Poelstra and Nisa Shier were flower girls.
Best men were Brian Shier and Corey Thacker.
Groomsmen were Matt Gallagher of Los Angeles, Calif., Tyler McCullough, Rick Poelstra of Granger, Ind., Adam Payne of Niles, Zech Hoyt of Dowagiac and Adam Shephardson, Niles.
Ushers included Pete Payne, Jr., Matt Payne, Josh Payne and Chris Payne.
The couple are living in Niles, after a wedding trip in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
