Melvin E. Hiter, 80, of M-140, Niles, died on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at Lakeland Hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Brown Funeral Home, Niles, with Father David Ottsen officiating. An interment will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
