ST. JOSEPH – There are many children in Southwest Michigan who will not experience the simple joy of receiving and opening a gift during this season of joy and happiness. To change this for as many children as possible, The Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS is starting their annual Toys For Tots campaign.
In the past the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors as a group have collected thousands of dollars worth of toys for the program at their annual holiday party. This year they would like to invite the entire community to join with them to make this holiday event even more successful for our kids.
REALTORS will be collecting toys and cash donations to help children throughout Southwest Michigan to have a wonderful holiday. Please help by donating new, unwrapped toys valued at $10 or more. Toys suitable for teens are especially needed.
Niles locations for Toys for Tots donations include offices of Cressy and Everett, Coldwell Banker Real Estate and Metropolitan Title.
Donations can be dropped off at any local Realtor office or at the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS office on Lakeshore Drive just south of Hilltop Road. You may also call the Association office at 983-6375 to arrange for a Realtor to pick up your gifts.
The committee for this year's project included Paul Hicks, Doreen Johan, Nancy Adams, Robert Kaufman, Kathy Pallas, Candy Gaddy, David Gross, Thad Payne, Diana Herwick and Tina Thornton.
