The Buckeyes (11-1, 7-1) defeated Michigan 14-3 on Saturday in a defensive slugfest.
Ohio State, which earned a BCS Bowl bid as well as the conference championship, limited the Wolverines (8-4, 6-2) to less than 100 yards in total offense.
Michigan grabbed a 3-0 first quarter lead on a K.C. Lopata 33-yard field goal.
It was about all the offense the Wolverines would muster on a cold, wet and windy day.
In the second quarter, Ohio State scored on a 1-yard Chris Wells run to take a 7-3 lead into halftime.
Well then stuck a knife into the heart of the Michigan faithful as he ran through the Wolverine defense for a 62-yard touchdown in the third quarter that capped the scoring.
Wells finished with 222 yards on 39 carries for an average of 5.7 yards per tote.
The Buckeyes finished with 279 yards in total offense compared to just 91 for Michigan.
Seniors Chad Henne and Mike Hart both started despite injuries, but were less than effective.
Henne finished 11-of-34 for 68 yards and was sacked three times.
Hart rushed for 44 yards on 18 carries.
