NILES – Are you tired of standing in line to mail a package or buy a book of stamps? The Niles Post Office is hosting a week long event to educate our customers on the ease of use offered by the Automated Postal Center. This week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday-Friday, employees will be on hand to show customers how easy it is to use the APC.
The Automated Postal Center has been in place for nearly two years. It is located conveniently in the lobby of the Niles Main Post office and is available for use 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers can mail domestic packages using Express Mail, Priority Mail and Standard Mail. The APC offers the additional service options of insurance, delivery confirmation and certified return receipt. Forever stamps are sold in sheets and other stamp demoninations can be purchased. Customers can look up zip codes and other mailing information at the touch of a finger tip.
