MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Visiting Niles freshmen volleyball team was defeated by Mishawaka Marion on Monday night 25-7 and 25-8.
"Last night we played one of the best freshman teams that I have seen all year," Niles coach Tami Williams said. "Mishawaka Marion came with the best, solid playing team we have went up against. We played flat and we will spend today (Tuesday) in the gym working on our hitting game."
Williams added that playing teams like Marion will help may her squad better.
Niles will face Lakeshore on Wednesday night.
