NILES – Students at Brandywine High School ended 2007's fall homecoming with a bang.
Although the Bobcats' football team lost to Cassopolis, the week was full of events and Friday was topped off with a parade, varsity football game, fireworks and the crowning of homecoming royalty.
The annual parade was held at 5 p.m. and featured floats from all classes, decorated for this year's theme of colleges.
The school colors of Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame could be seen from miles away as students hit the streets to show off their team spirit.
The parade was escorted by the Berrien County Sheriff's Department and the Niles Township Fire Department.
At the football game, homecoming royalty was crown as well as fireworks display, sponsored by Kachur Tree Service, at halftime.
During the week, students enjoyed dress up days, a bon fire and the Powder Puff football game, which took place Tuesday evening.
